Policies
Shipping:
Current wait time for ALL baby carriers is 4 weeks.
- If you wish for expedited shipping please contact us.
- We use the USPS for all of our orders.
- We will ship overseas.
- Shipping insurance is an additional fee and we strongly encourage you to purchase it. We are not responsible for any package that is "lost" in the mail and will not issue refunds or replacements.
- If you want additional shipping insurance, please contact us.
AT THIS TIME THERE IS A 4 WEEK WAITING PERIOD FOR ALL CARRIERS TO BE SHIPPED. THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS (unless you pay for rush shipping). IF YOU HAVE ORDERED A CARRIER AND WANT IT SOONER, IT IS AN ADDITIONAL $40 RUSH CHARGE PLUS ADDITIONAL SHIPPING CHARGES.
Exchange/return policy:
- We do not accept returns.
- We will, however, exchange a product in brand new condition as long as you ship it back to us within 14 days of its arrival at your doorstep.
- There is a $25 restocking fee on all exchanges.
- You must contact us BEFORE sending your carrier back or we may choose to not honor your exchange.
- You are responsible for the shipping to and from you on any exchange and the 4 week wait will apply again.
- We will not ship any exchanged carrier to you until your product is returned to us and inspected thouroughly.
- If we find hair, drool, fecal matter or any other stain or signs that the package has been opened, we will not accept the exchange and you will be responsible for the return shipping to you.
- If you do not supply the return shipping payment for the exchanged carrier within 15 days from when you returned the original carrier for exchange (we will check this on your postal date), you will forfeit your payment and your carrier. No exceptions. This is your responsibility to send that shipping payment to us.
Since your carrier was made special for you when you ordered it, we will not do an exchange for any reason other than a mix up on our part (ie we sent you the wrong carrier or wrong size). Changing your mind about the fabric or style is not a legitimate reason for an exchange. We are more than happy to help you pick a fabric/style/size prior to you placing an order. When in doubt, contact us.
We will NOT accept any returns or exchanges for the following reasons:
- You don't like the print you chose
- You changed your mind on strap length, color, print, etc.
- You are having financial issues
- You found a different item you like better
- You did not read these policies and did not know you could not return your purchase
Order Cancellations:
- If you change your mind about an order within 24 hours of placing the order and BEFORE ANY WORK IS DONE ON THE CARRIER, we will refund you minus a $20 fee incurred upon payment.
- If work has been done (as in cutting or sewing), or you change your mind more than 24 hours after purchase THE REGULAR POLICY APPLIES.
Alterations/Repairs:
- We will make repairs to an unaltered Ball Baby Carrier free of charge to you as long as the damage is from normal wear. Threads come loose and we are more than happy to mend things up so you can continue to safely wear your baby.
- However, there is a $25 plus shipping charge for any carrier that needs a repair that was purchased second hand, altered, does not have any documentation to where it what purchased (as in you do not a receipt from Ball Baby Carriers LLC or an authorized distributor) or that was obviously not cared for correctly.
- Please use caution when purchasing a carrier on for sale or trade boards or ebay.
Wholesale orders/sale orders/gift certificates:
- We never accept returns or exchanges for wholesale, custom, or discounted/sale/coupon code orders.
- We never issue refunds for gift certificates.
Changing your order:
- If you change your mind about an order within 24 hours of placing the order and BEFORE ANY WORK IS DONE ON THE CARRIER, we will refund you minus a $20 fee incurred upon payment.
- If work has been done (as in cutting or sewing), or you change your mind more than 24 hours after purchase THE REGULAR RETURN POLICY APPLIES.
We reserve the right to refuse service to you for ANY reason we see fit.
Custom Orders:
We define a custom order as:
- Adding an additional panel (be it from our site or not)
- matching overall prints not already listed together on the site
- a uniqe strap color
- any alterations made to the dimensions of the carrier INCLUDING strap length.
Purchasing during pregnancy:
If you are pregnant and purchasing a pouch or you are purchasing a gift for someone who is pregnant, please contact us for sizing help prior to your purchase. The regular return policiy applies.
Wrap to mei tai conversions:
- BBOifying orders have the same return policy, no exceptions.
- If we do not receive your wrap within 30 days of your order AND you have not made any arrangements with us for an extension on shipping the wrap to us, your order will be labeled as "Complete" and we will not sew your order without a late penalty payment of $20.We do not issue refunds under these circumstances.
- If you change your mind on a wrap conversion order BEFORE you ship the carrier to us, a cancellation fee of $10 will be applied and the rest of your money will be refunded to you.
- If you change your mind on a wrap converson order AFTER you ship the carrier to us AND we have not started on your order, a cancellation fee of $10 will be applied and you will be responsible for payment of the return shipping before we return the carrier to you. If that fee is not paid within 30 days, your wrap will not be returned to you and will become property of Ball Baby Carriers LLC.
- If you change your mind on a wrap conversion AFTER you have shipped your wrap AND after we have started sewing your order, we will be unable to refund you anything and the order will be completed and shipped.
Safety:
- Please use common sense when wearing your sling.
- When learning have another adult present to help you.
- A baby carrier does not replace a carseat when in a motor vehicle.
- Be careful when cooking and wearing your baby.
- Your child's safety should always come first when using your sling.
- We are not responsible for any accidents or injury to yourself or your child when using our product.
- By purchasing a Ball Baby carrier you understand the risks involved in using ANY baby carrier and agree to not hold Ball Baby Carriers LLC or any retailer or manufacturer of Ball Baby Carriers LLC liable for any mishap resulting in but not limited to injury or death.
Ignorance to these policies is not an excuse. Please read this page carefully before ordering.
