Pouch Instructions for Hip Carry
How to put an older baby in a hip carry with your pouch:
For this photo essay we will be introducing Tiffany. Be warned, while Tiffany can be a bucket of laughs, she can be quite stern (as you will see in our pictures) and at that time is know as Frou Tiffany. If you see happy Tiffany you can imagine a perky voice giving directions. If it is Frou Tiffany, know she is yelling with a thick german accent. Let's do this, shall we?

First, put your pouch on Miss America style. Remember, the opening should be facing up!

Pic up your baby and prepare to pouch him!

We're going to put his legs through the pouch so they'll hang out of it. Isn't this super fun?

Baby is now between you and the pouch! We're going to open up the pouch and sink his bum into it, nice and deep!

Remember, knees should be higher than bum so he's nice and deep in the pouch.

Baby on, yay!
Always have seam of pouch centered at baby's bum.
Remember to make sure the pouch is flat and spread on your back
Don't put the pouch too high on your neck or too low, just center it for the comfiest fit.
Practice makes perfect, so keep trying if it isn't all you had hoped for at first.
